Our Genesis
It all began with a simple yet profound realization by a family of four—a realization that society thrives only when its most vulnerable members are cared for, empowered, and uplifted. They saw the struggles faced by youth, women, people with disabilities, the elderly, street children, and marginalized communities like slum dwellers, sex workers to name a few, and they felt an unshakable responsibility to take action.
Why do we exist?
In a world brimming with potential yet burdened by inequities, the Lighthouse Foundation shines as a beacon of hope and transformation. It exists to illuminate the paths of those often overshadowed by societal challenges—youth in search of opportunities, women yearning for empowerment, individuals with disabilities striving for dignity, the elderly seeking care, and marginalized communities like sex workers longing for respect and inclusion.
